Richard Baker is an MD, composer, and improviser with a wide range of experience, recently on the Broadway production of Peter Pan Goes Wrong, for which he composed music and songs. After being nominated for an Olivier award for its Apollo Theatre run, the show has been seen on the BBC, with a national tour and international replica productions, before playing a four month season at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. He is a highly regarded member of the improv circuit, playing as Mischief Theatre’s musician for Mischief Movie Night (also Olivier-Award nominated), the Comedy Store Players and Paul Merton and Suki Webster’s Improv Show. Charlie Ryall is a performer and writer whose credits range from Shakespeare to sketch comedy via musical theatre and Greek tragedy. As a writer she is currently in development with a limited series based on her 2018 play, Indebted to Chance. Charlie was part of the very first cohort of artists to be supported by 54 Below’s Genesis Project in NYC. You can find out more about her varied history on her Spotlight page. 

 

Baker & Ryall's first show together was Tasting Notes at Southwark Playhouse in 2022. They were the creative team for NewsRevue at the Pleasance Grand in Edinburgh in 2023.
